What first inspired the story for Once I Knew ? But after about 5 years, I found out about publishing and started realizing that I could do that. I started writing just for enjoyment to be able to immerse myself in the kinds of stories I wanted to read when I was 13. I ran out of good material and found it hard to find books that weren’t full of trash or were actual trash themselves. By school standards I was reading words way faster than normal and ended up reading anything and everything I could get my hands on.
